Fragile Balance

This painting was created to show the impact of pollution on sea life. A turtle, bright and innocent, drifts toward a field of glowing jellyfish--its natural food--only to be met with drifting trash that looks like them. The turtle's curiosity contrasts with the harsh reality of the barrier before it, revealing how fragile beauty and life are when the sea is filled with waste. Through the work, I hope to remind viewers of the delicate balance of the ocean and the urgent need to protect it.
